The Huawei MediaPad M5 8.4 is a mid-range tablet with a few extras that make it stand out from the competition. The Huawei MatePad Paper is a tablet that has an unusual selling point – it has an E-Ink display that’s akin to the displays found on E-book readers. The tablet’s screen is a real highlight, able to hold its own against the likes of the iPad Pro. Its 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate make it a joy to work on, especially when using the included M-Pen stylus.

The M-Pen feels great in the hand and works well, with a small amount of resistance that makes it feel more realistic when drawing or writing on the Tablet Case 10.2 screen. Its only problem is that it’s a little slippery – the smooth finish can cause it to slide and slip in your hands, so it’s worth investing in a case for it to keep it protected.
